We maintain steel plate and steel bar inventory and provide a state-of-the-art plate cutting operation in Birmingham, Alabama. A36 Steel Plate Burning in most thicknesses up to 9''. We also stock 4140 steel plate, A572 grade 50, 1045 steel plate and A514 T1 steel plate, and we can obtain most any type of alloy plate or tool steel for grinding, precision machining or steel fabricating purposes.
We routinely flame cut and burn base plates, mounting plates, mold plates, die plates, gussets, shim plates, wear plates, parallel bars, risers, and other custom steel parts. We can plasma cut (video) or flame cut most any part per customer CAD specifications. Complimenting our (3) cutting tables, we have an 8' x 8' x 14' 40,000 lb. Car Bottom Furnace for stress relieving and annealing.
Our Avenger 2 plasma cutting machine from ESAB uses the latest electrical arc technology to cut plate. With up to 600 amps and a special rotating head, we also provide bevel cutting for the cleanest edges.
