Precision Grinding, Inc. is pleased to announce the installation of a new Yama Seiki CNC Vertical Machining Center. According to Andrew Cunningham, President of Precision Grinding, "This machine allows us to expand our current CNC machining production capacity and add new customers." Precision Grinding expanded its Steel Fabrication department last fall with a new 10 ton overhead crane and an additional 5,000 square feet. Precision Grinding has added several new skilled labor positions with the expanded production capacities in machining and fabrication.
Precision Grinding was founded in 1971 as a surface grinding company. Today, the company provides a full array of value added steel services to customers nationwide, including many ISO certified companies:
(1) CNC plate cutting using
Oxy-Fuel and
Plasma technologies
(2) Steel
plate inventory up to 8 inches thick with steel grades including A36, 4140,
1045, A572-50 and A514-T1
(3) Stress Relieving and Annealing with a 40,000# , 8' x 8' x 14' furnace
capacity
